• Not gotten enough of Shiranui Mai? No one can get enough of her. It was a trick question. Well, due out this December is a limited release, 1/5 scale Mai. She looks pretty good, might be right up the alley of fans of the more mature looking Mai. Again, she’s out in December and she’ll run you 14,700 yen.
• Ok, Yamato. I’m listening. You say you’ve got an extremely sexy Poison figure? You say she may look a little… waxy, but she’s 275mm tall and 1/6 scale. Anyway, Poison looks pretty damn good. November for 7140 yen. YOU LIKEY?!
• Oh man, I’ve been waiting for Yamashita Shunya’s Arisa for a long time. And the Creators’ Labo line is bringing her out as the #014 figure in the series. She looks just great, really. I’ve been pleased with Creators’ Labo so far, and this might be a purchase for me, since I have loved Arisa for so long. She’s 240mm tall, and she’ll be out in November for 7,140 yen.
• Megahouse has a very sexy looking Clare from Claymore. I’d hit it. She’s out in November for 5,775 yen.
• A slightly eroero Shana figures is on display from Toys Works. She’s… in a position more often associated with… ladies of lesser means than herself. She’s not happy about it either. Shana comes in two color schemes. A normal red-haired version and then the typical nekomimi version. I can’t help but feel like Shana is moving in on Hazuki’s territory. STOP IT, SHANA! They’re both 5,800 yen in December.
• Toys Works has a… wonderfully expressing (wonderfully exposed) Mirim Icsas. Oh, maybe she’s a little cock-eyed (from SOME angles, looks ok from others.), but her body is top notch. Toys Works, I salute you for this sexy, sexy figure. Oh and her boobs are squishy. Score. Mirim is out in December for 6,800 yen. I might need something like this to start up my DAISEXY figure collection. It gives +8 to Turning Off Girls skill sets.
• Do you need more Louise in your life? Well, Koto has a nice SweetWhite Louise figure due out this December. She might do what you need, though it’s not like I know what your tastes are. You can have her whipping you out of bed for 6,090 yen.
• OK! Time to speed this up. Max Factory has rocked my world again. That Kitsurugu I mentioned before is up for preorder. He’ll be out in January for 6,800 yen.
• I have a Wendy figure, but I think I need MaxFac’s clothes changing Wendy. Ok maybe not, but still, I like to see Wendy getting attention. She’s special. Also out in January for 6,500 yen. Sort of lame for a 1/8 scale, 100mm tall (sitting) figure.
• Here’s a nendoroid… Re Mii from… one of the Zoids shows. Looks like GSC is stepping up nendo pricing. She’ll be out in January for 4,000 yen.
• Here’s a Kusugawa Sasara ~sukumizu meido ver.~ figure. From afar she seemed sexy, but then a shot of her face put me off a bit. Nice body though. She’s out in December for 6,090 yen.
• A nice looking Rei from Koto. Nice base. Out in December for 7,140 yen.
• Louise, Little Devil ver. She’s out December for 6,090 yen. 1/6 scale.
• Pastel Innnnku! 4,410 yen in December.
• Nijihara Inku? 4,410 yen in December.
• Koto has Shiina Kanon’s number. Shiina is from Shining Tears, looks pretty good. She’ll be out in December for 5,775 yen.
• Shilfa… yes she’s a robot, but are you going to tell me robots don’t need love too? ARE YOU?!?! Give her some in December for 4,725 yen.
• Moetan trading figures. Nothing to see here. Enjoy your prison. 6,300 yen in November.
• Got some Melty Blood series figures. Touno Akiha is looking pretty good. Or if you don’t want Akiha to show you her version of Heaven, maybe a softer touch is your speed. Kohaku might do you proper. She’s 5,880 yen in December. Akiha in January.
• I think we’ve all been waiting for some other Yotsuba&! figures. This time, we’ve got the lovely next door teen, Ayase Fuuka. She’ll do nicely, especially if she’s part of a continuing set. She’s 185mm tall, she’s out in November for 2,940 yen.
• Lastly, we’ve got I-no from Guilty Gear, by way of Max Factory. She is looking wonderful, as you’d expect, and if I was more into her, and didn’t have other stuff, she’d be a for sure purchase. Rawr. Here’s hoping she casts off. She is out in December for 7,800 yen. Yessir, good stuff. A bit expensive though.

Man, that was a lot of backlog. I’m really regretting all that missed posting. Makes me weep like a little baby. I AM WEEPING PEOPLE! Oh, and if you’re worried, individual figure posts will still have images posted. None of that sort of business is changing. Just though you might care to know.

Holy sweet Jesus!! What a large number of anime announcements this week! Oh, right off, let me explain that the two rant posts are in hidden mode for a while. They need to me for my own personal reasons, it’s nothing permanent, just can’t have them glaringly on page one (links to them still work). Anyway, I’ve been getting a lot of work done on the SUPER SECRET PROJECT. If I keep the steam up, we might see beta in a few months. Well, an open beta. I could have a closed alpha sort of thing ready for action in a few weeks, so keep the eyes peeled for that. Basically, I want to make sure nothing gets out without the thing being DONE. You know? I want not to get all half ass on it after I release it. On with the rollup!

Anime/Manga/Games

• Well, first up, some FFXIII news. There were some interviews about the game recently in LEVEL magazine. Ceb from NeoGAF has translated some parts of the interviews. YAY!
• Want some funky fresh Dai Yamato Zerogou fun? The first of five episodes is up for free online streaming.
• Karas OVA Disc 4 has been scheduled. If it’s as boring as the other three, nothing will be getting me to the stores on August 24th.
• Gundam fan? OH SHIT! New Gundam! It’s going to be called Mobile Suit Gundam DABUURU OO! That’s… 00. Double O. Yeah. If you didn’t already believe me that Gundam is a bullshit series that’s been milking the same idiots for like… a million years, HEY! this one takes place in an all new continuity universe. Yep! No worries about clashing with the canon. Someone please explain how this is different from any other mecha show? Gundam just sells copies. It’s insulting. Show hits in October.
• So… then Piccolo… I mean Ishida shoots the Kameameha… I mean spirit arrow at Buu… I mean the Hollow… yeah… another Bleach movie. It’s hits theaters in December.
• Peach-Pit’s disgustingly sweet manga (Ouran High School Host Club with mascot characters) Shugo Chara is getting turned into an anime TV series.
• Ah, some good news. Koharu Biyori, a romantic comedy manga, is getting its own anime OVA. Everyone likes a good romantic comedy.
• Looks like the ef visual novels are getting a crack at an anime series. ef -a tale of memories- will kick off this fall, after the release of a prologue DVD on August 24th. Thanks to Phenie for adding the DVD release to ikiKOYOMI.
• More visual novel stuff. Yotsunoha is getting a two episode OVA due out next year sometime… that’s a long time.
• This news hit on Friday, but I’m a lazy fucker… Rosario to BANPIYAAAAAAA is getting an anime… GONZO will be animating it. Take that for what it’s worth.
• Kamen no Maid Guy has had its website put up. Odd since it’s not due out until next year.
• Happy Happy Clover also got some website love. This one with the more sane release date of July 6th.
• Also, if you’re a yaoi shota perv, you’ll be happy to hear that, in complete contrast to recent American, popular demand has given rise to the production of a third OVA episode of Pico. Info is on Galge.com which is all sorts of NSFW.
• OMGOMGOMG! Looks like Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Second has a release date for the first episode. The first DVD of the OVA series will hit on August 24th.
• Shingo is worth his weight in GOLD DABLOOOONS today for posting a mildly NSFW review of both Megami 84 and Comp Heroines 4. This is one summer showdown you don’t want to miss. I TELLS YA.

• Ok, let’s do figures really fast. Sol International is doing nice looking PVCs of both Ciel and Shion from Melty Blood. August and September respectively. Both will run you 5,880 yen.
• And how’s about Cafe Reo’s super cute Mika PVC from Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight? Need some HobbyStock linkage? OKEEDOO! She’ll run you 4,725 yen (1/8 scale) this August.

Also, the School Days anime finally has a website over at AVEX, so be sure to check that out (WOO THIGH HIGHS!). Out in July. And the latest Aria OVA, Aria the OVA ~Arietta~, has a website now. Please to enjoy it. First disc hits on September 21st.

Well, I would say I’m having a good day, but I came in this morning to notice a GANGRAPE of people muscling in on my territory. Easily 8 billion other people had already hit the Genshiken story… and WHAT IS THIS?!?! ET TU CHOO-TAN?!?! That plucky bastard totally stole my calendar traffic! Why the fuck would I link that? Well, because I have a special place in my heart for D-bo. We are comrades, not enemies. And it will be a while before I get a chance to get in my planned upgrades to ikiKOYOMI (which is a far better name). But still! Anime/Manga/Games

• Well, don’t say I’m not at least TRYIN to hit the games side of things a bit more. I bring the ikimashou faithful a tasty fishing simulator/eroge called Chou Kanojo. Ahhh, I can see the delicious roe covered sexcapades now. Scales flying everywhere. Yessir. The sample second has some fun nudity for those of us who are SO into that.
• Free Anime: You can hit the Romeo x Juliet site and see the full first episode for free. No there are no subtitles. Alternatively, you could save yourself 800 pains in the ass and just hit Tokyo Toshokan for a torrent of the raw OR subbed episode. I think it would help us all.
• Geneon picked up Zero no Tsukaima for the US. Yes, say goodbye to tsundere hotness and say hello to stale, flatly read, prissy American bitch. BECAUSE THAT’S THE ONLY WAY TO DUB IT, ISN’T IT?! Just stop dubbing anime and I will support your industry, America. I think it’s a fair trade.

• HEY! You 1/4 scale Mikuru psychos! FREEing finally admitted that they were making a Haruhi. You can see her and her terrifying pelvis at their official site. She hits this June for 9,800 yen. Fun for the whole family.
• Oh, and good news out of MaxFactory, their Pachira is done and should be shipping out to people who know the difference between loli and pettanko this week. Or that’s the hope anyway.
• And probably more important from the same blog post above, the second run of Max’s Haruhi are in and should ship out this week. Cross your fingers people. It’s the only hope you have.

Wow, there was a sick amount of anime news today. All announcements and sites and such like, so let’s knock those out right now. Firstly, Overflow officially announced the School Days anime… or at least that it will be out in July. If you’ve never played School Days… go play it.

The official site for GONZO’s Dragonaut ~The Resonance~ up and online for all to enjoy. This one will hit your terebis in October. Yessir!

There’s a formal jiggy telling all the cools kids that Zombie-Loan is getting an anime floating around. Word on the street is that it’s going to be a TV anime. But hey, isn’t just about everything these days?

A show called Mononoke is in the works, which is, I am told, a spin-off of the Bakeneko arc of the Ayakashi TV series. It’s going to hit in July

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, the second season of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, was officially announced as well. It’s going to hit in July. Yessir. Hurrah for Higurashi!

And from moetron, there’s a new Aria OVA in the works. Kara no Kyoukai is getting turned into a seven part movie series. I HAPPPYYYY! Also, Zero no Tsukaima Second Season is hitting in July YAY ZNT! YAYAYAYAYYY!!!
