I am going to be doing a spankfuckingnew layout to go on the blog and will try to launch it alongside the SECRET PROJECT. Might be out a bit earlier than that. You know how it is. Also, Touhou demo.

Another too short weekend, another crappy work week. I am just dying waiting on a certain phone call. Damn it all. Meh, I’ve got some work to do, so let’s get this thing banged out.

Anime/Manga/Games

• The big-promise, small-delivery company Distant Horizon has promised an English film adaptation of Rinjin 13-go. They have previously failed to ever produce a live action Kite adaptation.
• Looks like King of Fighters is getting an English live-action film too. Gordon Chan will be making sure it sucks/doesn’t suck. Here’s hoping for the latter.
• Minagawa Ryoji is starting up a new manga in Ultra Jump called Peacemaker. It hits in the July issue.
• Comiket: HEY KIDS! Those sexy Comiket 72 event catalogues are out… for preorder. Better order early so you can make that list. That sexy doujin list.
• Takaya Natsuki, the broad who drew those freaky Fruits Basket kids, is starting a new shoujo manga in Hana to Yume. It’ll be called Hoshi wa Utau.
• D-bo has some lovely figure shots of up. SEE THEM NOW.
• And pKjd, whom I was sure had died, posted up some beautiful Touhou 10 news. DEMO TIME!! Ahh, it looks so refined.

• Not a whole lot on the figure side.
• For those of you who are scared of those big ol’ Haruhi figures, Toys Works will be bringing you folks a 10 piece 1BOX for happy love. Out this September for 7,350 yen.
• And you guys who like your Haruhi large and in charge, Toys Works is also bringing the PVC version of the Haruhi gakuran ver. figure seen around recently. She’ll be 5,800 yen this September.
• Don’t want Toys Works Haruhi in your junk? Well, maybe their Athena Glory from Aria will rub you the right way. She’s a full 285mm tall without the oar, and she’ll hit your wallet for massive (7,329 yen) damage this September.
• Lastly, we’ve got some delicious Amy action from Yamato. I’m with Shingo in saying I’d normally ignore this one, but this link begs for consideration (PROTIP: Scroll down.). She will be out in August for 7,140 yen. Ahem.

Well, certainly that title will garner some interest BWAHAHA! I’ve named it as such, because there is lack of normal news and a FUCKTON of things that will interest the more hardcore among the readership. Yeah, it’s all event coverage and articles about porno for me! But seriously, remember that upgrade to ikiKOYOMI that I promised? Well, it’s in. Yes, now you can add events yourself. You need to be logged in for that link to work. So yeah. Also, if you had problems signing in to ikiKOYOMI, that’s fixed now. Fucking WordPress upgrade borked my shit. So just sign out and back in. Sorry for the problems there. I will do a slightly longer post about it later, along with some other stuff.

Anime/Manga/Games

• It was Toro-kun’s birthday this weekend. If you don’t know who Toro-kun is, then you’re dead to me. That cake looks damn good.
• Don’t like Lucky*Star? Well too bad! It’s all over Akiba. Muuuuu~
• I am sort of enjoying Kagetora. Certainly Segami Akira is a passionate guy. This time, he will be extolling his love for figure-skating in a little ditty he calls Kisu*Kura in Weekly Shounen Magazine.
• The names for the Evangelion movie remakes were announce. It’s got all sorts of symbolism. I will not be talking about it any further to save on ranting energy, in case I need it later.
• Choo-tan shows us what he does on the weekends. DONMAI!
• And since I know there are some music fags in the audience, I know you will all appreciate KOF 2000′s article on M3.
• And speaking of fags, Shipon went to Comic1. Oh, and he took some pictures at Chuo-Dori to show us all how many guys can possibly swarm around a patently unattractive girl in a Neon Genesis get up. I still love you, Shipon.
• Lastly, moetron has some info on Touhou 10. If that means nothing to you, then I wouldn’t worry about it.

Figures

• Well, let’s do the real figures first. Any dripping vaginas in here when I mention Cloud? Thought so. How about a 1/4 scale figure of him in real clothes? Better start saving. You have until September to amass the 49,350 yen that he will cost you.
• I am sick of this pink coloring on Ikkitousen figures. Here is a shitty Kan-U in pink. I didn’t even open this to see the price. Yech. It’s over 20,000 yen though, since it’s 1/5 scale resin.
• And to cover the other two, these things look cute and Astroboy does not. Sorry freaky Astroboy.
• Moving on to the real important shit. WHF was this weekend. As such a few places threw together some coverage. Some people with more time on their hands will be able to link all the non-English sites. But they will be redundant.
• Anyway, D-bo did a good job snapping shots… and censoring them.
• Shingo also made a showing at the event. It’s nice to see him out and about. And since he is a TRUE FAN (take that D-bo) he didn’t censor the images and make doves cry. All hail perverts!
• Speaking of Choo-tan, though, he took some pictures of that LUCIOUS Kureha figure. If you were on the fence about her, you NEED to see these. Oh man, wonderful. WONDERFUL!
• Oh, and if you are into that Plain Clothes Masane, check the HD review. Man, those guys were busy. Mine is in the mail. I am stoked.
