Well, I think I’m the only one to post about this yet. It looks like KyoAni’s OTHER otaku-friendly series is getting a PS2 game. And if you don’t know which one I mean, I mean Lucky Star. Yes, that’s right, Lucky Star is getting a PS2 game. It’s another adventure game (visual novel), but you will be taking control of an original character. Your hopes of playing as Konata HAVE BEEN DASHED! I’d really prefer to play as Akira-sama, but there you go. I’m going to be so poor this fall… oh man. The game is due out in November. No price was announced.

Well, well, well. It looks like Haruhi and I have another thing in common. We’re apparently both big fans of Sony. In addition to the previously announced PSP game, Haruhi will be getting another adventure game on the PS2 called Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadou (Bewilderment). It’s set to hit stores in January of 2008 and will have Haruhi running around as Ultra Hero Haruhi. The storyline is that, as Kyon, you will be working through the daily activities of the SOS-dan as they make a fantasy game. It will be different from the PSP storyline, according to 2ch. Sounds like a purchase for me.

Well, I don’t know how many of you are interested, but there is another trailer online for Ikkitousen: Shining Dragon, the upcoming Ikkitousen game for the PS2. The trailer is blurry as hell, but looks like it could have some decent fight mechanics. Maybe. According to the trailer there’s a bakuretsu pack. Not sure what’s on the extra discs because I didn’t read it the first time through. It hits stores on July 26th.

Sorry for going missing. Some personal things arose. Had to deal with them. Well… you kids big fans of Ikkitousen? No doubt your love for the series (manga, primarily) pales in comparison to mine. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Which is why me being fairly assured that the upcoming Ikkitousen PS2 game will suck means a lot. Will I be playing it? Hell yes. The game will be patterned after Dragon Destiny and, itself, will be titled Ikkitousen: Shining Dragon. It will be hitting shelves this summer sometime, and hopefully it goes horribly naughty and gets a CERO Z rating. Please oh please oh please.
