Now, I don’t know how many of you dear readers are avid Japanese RPG fans, but I am assuming that at least a few of you have heard of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. It’s really one of those amazing bits of story-telling that I love to come across. But enough about me, let’s talk about you, Persona 3 anime. Soejima Shigenori, the game’s character designer is staying on to create the anime characters, but I am a bit worried that Matsumoto Jun is helming the show as his first time directing anything more than episode spots. Still, there are some good names on board from shows like Darker than BLACK, Le Chevalier, and Ouran. Music from the guy who did Read or Die’s music.

Still, here’s hoping it doesn’t turn out like the Disgaea anime. The site, whenever it comes online will be over this way. The show is due out in January.

To celebrate the old break from GSC, (not really) Alter has announced their September October one-two punch. First of the pair is Kaminagi Ryouko of Zegapain fame. She’s standing there in her little school girl outfit, showing you everything that the Japanese have done for the world. Ok, really, I am just playing her up because I fail to understand how companies make their figure production decisions. It’s like I need to start my own company to get the shit I want made put to PVC. She hits in September for 5,040 yen.

Second, and one that actually makes me happy, is Aegis (Aigis, whichever it is) from Persona 3. I know there was a previous version, but I always like to see Alter attach their particular quality to a character. She’s sporting a nice, dynamic pose and the sculpt really goes a long way to showing off her SEXY ROBOT BODY. Hopefully the base stays the same as the pictures. I am sick of these low quality bases. 6,090 yen in October… which Han calls expensive. GET A JOB, YOU LAZY WHINER!
