old anime news and some other shit.

Oh no, those Kanon ladies can’t hide any longer. No sir. Why just today Max Factory has handed over the informations we’ve been waiting for. Well… some of us. Others maybe don’t care. Let’s knock the boring preorder business out first. Ahem, preorders started popping up today for Max’s Tsukimiya Ayu. In the shots provided, I’ll say, her nose is looking a bit high up on the face… or maybe it’s just overly pronounced. I guess it’s sort of like… from some angles she looks good, but from others things become a bit questionable. The sculpt is overall really solid, however, and I think Ayu fans will want to pick it up for sure. She’s 1/8 scale, stands 190mm tall, and will run you 5,800 this October. Wings and all.

But even more excitement awaits! Because today, MaxFactory put up the prototype sculpt of Makoto! Yes, everyone’s slightly retarded fox-girl fantasy is coming to PVC. There’s nothing in the way of a timeline, but hey, a proto is good enough.

You can see both of these ladies after the jump. Generally, I only link to the MaxFac blog, but since I am posting pictures anyway, I figured it was redundant.

Well, there it is. Monday again and I didn’t do anymore work on NEW SECRET PROJECT Instead I just leveled. Let me just say, Blizzard did not seem to plan quests to accommodate people leveling as a duo. We’ve had to resort to grinding a few times thus far, just to keep from having to try quests that are 4 or more levels above us. Ah well, that’s the way it is. Slim on the anime news today, so don’t get all pissy. I know what you’re like when you get that way.

Anime/Manga/Games

  • There are three Pokemon Movie 10 trailers up today… AND THAT’S IT! I know you are all HUUUGE Pokemon fans, so this must be a great bit of news for you. Hooray!

Figures

  • Did you miss those Eva Pinky:cos figures the first time around? Well, you will have another change in August for the low, low price of 1,050 yen. Enjoy them while you can mortal.
  • This is something I don’t recall seeing done recently. Griffon is offering up both a PVC and Resin/Cold Cast kit of Urd (Urudo, if you like) at nearly the same time. They will run 6,825 yen and 9,240 yen in July and June respectively.
  • Need some eroero figures? Will, let’s turn to Griffon Enterprises once again for some lovely Queen’s Blade action. They’re both Cold Cast Resin ladies, so mind the pricing. First up, Menace, looking wonderful in her Egyptian glory. She will run you 16,590 yen this July. And the will be mugging for camera time against Airi, who seems to have been in some sort of tussle. YOU HAVE TO COMFORT HER! She’s out the same price and month. Hit Heisei Democracy for some uncensored shots[NSFW]. You have to click his stupid unhide NSFW thing. Psh. PSH!
  • Continuing the rabid eroero spree that’s been going on lately, we have Imari-chan from Bible Black. Yeah, that’s about as ero as it gets. Her chest bit is removable for free falling boobies. 5,460 yen this May from C-Works.
  • What? A man? In my figures?! It’s more likely than you might think. Abel from Trinity Blood is bursting into figure form this July for 13,440 yen.
  • Two creepy looking figures. It’s Sasami from Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club. She’s weird and out in July for 6,090 yen. Even creepier (by a factor of 10) is this 1/5 scale Tama-nee. Oh sweet Jesus is shit scary. What would you expect to pay for a boobs-so-big-they-look-odd-in-a-bad-way-not-a-bakunyuu-hot-way figure like this? With freaky coloring? I hope it’s 12,600 yen because that’s what this 370mm PVC will run you this June.
  • Also, I missed this since I didn’t read the post, but MaxFac confirmed a Makoto (*snore*) sculpt to go along with Ayu. Maybe they will systematically find all the other most boring characters in shows and do them from now on. Not that they weren’t cute in the series, but if I am going to be plopping PVC on my shelf, I want either a hot character, or a substantive one. Uguu, taiyaki, and creepy dead foxes do not good figures make.

That’s it for today. I’m going to go ahead and update that MaxFac post from before. Not that you guys care. I just tend to like to end off with something. Maybe super rats-chan will get his wish for the figure drought. These most recent few were kind of suck… though those Queen’s Blade ones are SO TEMPTING. I want the whole set, but apparently to make enough to do that and not get evicted, I’d need to… you know… make a lot more than I do. Someone give me a high paying job. I’m make a great CEO.

Well, well, well. We meet again, MaxFactory-kun. What futile attempt at stealing my money have you brought forth this time? Ah, it’s an unpainted Tsukimiya Ayu sculpt. Well, I won’t be drawn in by your wonderful stunted growth angel! Well, maybe a little. But then I will regain my composure, and say… while it does look GREAT, per the norm, I will likely not be getting it. I mean, MAYBE, but I’d rather have Nayuki and Shiori. Make a note of it, MaxFactory. It’s important. Really, it’s a wonderful sculpt, and I can’t wait to see some paint on it, since those wings could come out really poorly. It happens. I’m not seeing a size listed. Oh well, I am spoiled on 1/6 scale figures. I need their substantial size! NEED!

Update: Upon actually reading the damn post, Max also confirmed a Makoto sculpt that will show up in the near future. So start jerkin’ your wallet’s gerkin now. I know you guys LOooooOOOVE those two. I checked.
