Have you guys been waiting on Max Factory’s Makoto figure from Kanon? No?! Yeaaah, me either really. And that’s a lot to say coming from a blatant MaxFac whore. Still, Makoto is looking extremely nice. The paint’s good, the expression and pose are nice, and… yeah. Just generally good. I would go so far as to say great, but the supplied shots make the seams in her arms look a bit obvious. Hopefully that isn’t the case. She’s out in February and will be 1/8th scale and 175mm tall. IS SHE COSTLY?! A little. She’ll be 5,800 yen.

Hit the jump for a good sexy number of pictures, sexually sexilizing themselves on the sex. Yep. Sexual.

Well, I think Tablier Marketing is one of those companies you don’t hear from too often in the figure market. But I have to say, for a company whose main gig isn’t figures, Tablier has made a decent effort with their two newest offerings. First up is Nayuki from Kanon. She looks pretty good, and they opted to give her supporting beams rather than trying to make her free stand. It’s a choice you see avoided a lot these days, but it usually really helps figures stay upright. She’s out in November for 7,800 yen and is 230mm tall.Next up is Kasugawa Sasara and she is looking pretty sexy, I’d say. Lovely panchira. Really, I think she speaks for herself in the pictures. The outfit is a good color and compliments her skin tone and eyes very nicely. She hits 245mm tall and will be out in December for 7,800 yen. Boy howdy!

Hit the jump for a sad one shot each. And then be happy that Sony announced rumble for the SIXAXIS. That is sexy.

Well howdy doo, ladies and gentlemen. Semi-eventful weekend. I joined a gym. Pretty soon I will be ultra buff. That’s the good stuff. Ah, and I spent a chunk of yesterday learning to do dynamic flash tie-in stuff for the SUPER SECRET PROJECT. Yes, I am back to working on it. Largely because I am in a bad mood, so it’s a good distraction. Also, I’ve been watching Black Lagoon and I feel it’s necessary to tell you… Revy gets me rock hard. Just saying. Rollup.

Anime/Manga/Games

  • The upcoming OVA Strait Jacket has had its site put online. Looks like it has a gun and a mech. The first disc hits stores on the Wednesday. Also it’s based on a light novel if you care.
  • In completely unrelated news, TOKYOPOP has licensed Futari Ecchi. Good on them. Hopefully it’ll get edited for content. Haha. Oh, I kid. If it does, I will be slapping some lips.
  • Looks like AX07 is shaping up to have some pretty heavy otaku numbers there. Our brothers in arms from pedolicious, moetron, and Clockwork Machina will be there. Looks like Shingo even tricked Ol’ Pete (sorry, man. Everyone gets a nickname here.) into flying him over to talk about what us hardcore fans like to call “drawn titty porn games.” Sadly, I can’t make it out. Anyone else going? Someone tell Pete to give me a job. I am a sexy genius and he knows he wants this up in his offices. HE KNOWS IT! Please?
  • Chibi Maruko-chan is getting turned into yonkoma in the Japanese newspaper The Chunichi Shinbun. Now, I know very few of you have any idea what that it, but behind Sazae-san, it’s been the number two anime in Japan for… like… since ever. FANS REJOICE! I hope it’s good. Yonkoma have a very fine line there. They can be great, but lots of them are just horrible.

Figures

  • More Pia Carrot he Youkoso? WELL FUN! This time it’s Kunugi Ayano and she’s meido type. This figure seems really familiar. It doesn’t look too terrible. Out in September for 7,140 yen.
  • Orchid Seed is bringing the eroero with this Al Ajif and Another Blood from Demonbane. Just a warning, the main pic on HobbyStock is uncensored. For the full uncensored shots, head to AmiAmi. Not that great looking. Together they will be 9,800 yen this October. A high price for such small ladies.
  • Ugh. More throw away Evangelion garbage. It’s a 1/8 scale resin Asuka. It’s uninspired crap in both pink and white. Didn’t look at the pages. Looks like it will cost near on 12,000 yen… I didn’t check. Garbage.
  • Looks like Kotobukiya has finally jumped on the Kanon train. To save repeating myself, both carves look ok. Not super, but decent. First up, Ayu is representing with taiyaki. She’s standing 165mm tall and is due out in August for 4,410 yen.
  • And for Nayuki fans, there will be a figure for you guys this time! Nayuki is standing 190mm tall and looks… meh. Just meh. Some odd bits to her. She’s also out in August for 4,410 yen.
  • And to finish up this fairly uninspired group, we have yet another Asuka from NGE. Her lips are very adult there. She’s some sort of… gosurori/meido thing. Not sure. It says gosurori, so I’ll go with that. I guess sitting on marble steps versus standing near tea is the kicker. She looks pretty ok in the pictures, and Kotobukiya is dropping her this August for 5,040 yen. Oh yeah, 180mm tall.

WOO! Time for… you know… that stuff I am doing after I finish typing this. Hmm, I sort of shut down there for a second. Anyway, I’m working hard on the secret project now, so hopefully we can have something soon. I had to sort of checked out there for a while for data aggregation. Troublesome stuff there. Anyway, Time for maybe a nap or something.

Oh no, those Kanon ladies can’t hide any longer. No sir. Why just today Max Factory has handed over the informations we’ve been waiting for. Well… some of us. Others maybe don’t care. Let’s knock the boring preorder business out first. Ahem, preorders started popping up today for Max’s Tsukimiya Ayu. In the shots provided, I’ll say, her nose is looking a bit high up on the face… or maybe it’s just overly pronounced. I guess it’s sort of like… from some angles she looks good, but from others things become a bit questionable. The sculpt is overall really solid, however, and I think Ayu fans will want to pick it up for sure. She’s 1/8 scale, stands 190mm tall, and will run you 5,800 this October. Wings and all.

But even more excitement awaits! Because today, MaxFactory put up the prototype sculpt of Makoto! Yes, everyone’s slightly retarded fox-girl fantasy is coming to PVC. There’s nothing in the way of a timeline, but hey, a proto is good enough.

You can see both of these ladies after the jump. Generally, I only link to the MaxFac blog, but since I am posting pictures anyway, I figured it was redundant.

Well, there it is. Monday again and I didn’t do anymore work on NEW SECRET PROJECT Instead I just leveled. Let me just say, Blizzard did not seem to plan quests to accommodate people leveling as a duo. We’ve had to resort to grinding a few times thus far, just to keep from having to try quests that are 4 or more levels above us. Ah well, that’s the way it is. Slim on the anime news today, so don’t get all pissy. I know what you’re like when you get that way.

Anime/Manga/Games

  • There are three Pokemon Movie 10 trailers up today… AND THAT’S IT! I know you are all HUUUGE Pokemon fans, so this must be a great bit of news for you. Hooray!

Figures

  • Did you miss those Eva Pinky:cos figures the first time around? Well, you will have another change in August for the low, low price of 1,050 yen. Enjoy them while you can mortal.
  • This is something I don’t recall seeing done recently. Griffon is offering up both a PVC and Resin/Cold Cast kit of Urd (Urudo, if you like) at nearly the same time. They will run 6,825 yen and 9,240 yen in July and June respectively.
  • Need some eroero figures? Will, let’s turn to Griffon Enterprises once again for some lovely Queen’s Blade action. They’re both Cold Cast Resin ladies, so mind the pricing. First up, Menace, looking wonderful in her Egyptian glory. She will run you 16,590 yen this July. And the will be mugging for camera time against Airi, who seems to have been in some sort of tussle. YOU HAVE TO COMFORT HER! She’s out the same price and month. Hit Heisei Democracy for some uncensored shots[NSFW]. You have to click his stupid unhide NSFW thing. Psh. PSH!
  • Continuing the rabid eroero spree that’s been going on lately, we have Imari-chan from Bible Black. Yeah, that’s about as ero as it gets. Her chest bit is removable for free falling boobies. 5,460 yen this May from C-Works.
  • What? A man? In my figures?! It’s more likely than you might think. Abel from Trinity Blood is bursting into figure form this July for 13,440 yen.
  • Two creepy looking figures. It’s Sasami from Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club. She’s weird and out in July for 6,090 yen. Even creepier (by a factor of 10) is this 1/5 scale Tama-nee. Oh sweet Jesus is shit scary. What would you expect to pay for a boobs-so-big-they-look-odd-in-a-bad-way-not-a-bakunyuu-hot-way figure like this? With freaky coloring? I hope it’s 12,600 yen because that’s what this 370mm PVC will run you this June.
  • Also, I missed this since I didn’t read the post, but MaxFac confirmed a Makoto (*snore*) sculpt to go along with Ayu. Maybe they will systematically find all the other most boring characters in shows and do them from now on. Not that they weren’t cute in the series, but if I am going to be plopping PVC on my shelf, I want either a hot character, or a substantive one. Uguu, taiyaki, and creepy dead foxes do not good figures make.

That’s it for today. I’m going to go ahead and update that MaxFac post from before. Not that you guys care. I just tend to like to end off with something. Maybe super rats-chan will get his wish for the figure drought. These most recent few were kind of suck… though those Queen’s Blade ones are SO TEMPTING. I want the whole set, but apparently to make enough to do that and not get evicted, I’d need to… you know… make a lot more than I do. Someone give me a high paying job. I’m make a great CEO.

Well, well, well. We meet again, MaxFactory-kun. What futile attempt at stealing my money have you brought forth this time? Ah, it’s an unpainted Tsukimiya Ayu sculpt. Well, I won’t be drawn in by your wonderful stunted growth angel! Well, maybe a little. But then I will regain my composure, and say… while it does look GREAT, per the norm, I will likely not be getting it. I mean, MAYBE, but I’d rather have Nayuki and Shiori. Make a note of it, MaxFactory. It’s important. Really, it’s a wonderful sculpt, and I can’t wait to see some paint on it, since those wings could come out really poorly. It happens. I’m not seeing a size listed. Oh well, I am spoiled on 1/6 scale figures. I need their substantial size! NEED!

Update: Upon actually reading the damn post, Max also confirmed a Makoto sculpt that will show up in the near future. So start jerkin’ your wallet’s gerkin now. I know you guys LOooooOOOVE those two. I checked.
