Howdy doo, reader buddies. Sorry for the lack of an update yesterday. I was hella busy. Even this morning I had many things to do. As I promised to you guys, contest prizes have been mailed out. And it fucking cost me my left nugget to do it. Ashley, the co-winner of the figure contest got BUBBA’s Haruhi bunny girl, and the two anime runners-up got a Maritan book. Isn’t that nice of me? On with the rollup!

Anime/Manga/Games

• Puchi Eva, super deformed Eva people… like those figures from a few days back, is getting an anime. DOES THIS COUNT AS A NEW SHOW?!?! Sure, whatever.
• Looks like ToHeart2′s anime adventures aren’t quite over. AquaPlus says there will be a new OVA for the series call ToHeart2 ad. but they didn’t tell us it’d be out in a week, which makes it lame.
• Ookami to Koshinryo is getting an anime, according to the little paper wrappy jiggy on the fifth volume. Man, I love those things. Obi, they call them. Isn’t that cute?
• Trailer: What’s that you say? You haven’t had enough of Aquarion and the movie is too long in coming? Well, I guess I can help out there. The official site now has a streaming trailer to… you know… enjoy. Hit the link and click “movie” and you’re there.
• Trailer: I guess it’s good that we should put up another Appleseed trailer, too. It’s also streaming flash, so no DM on that one.
• Minami-ke’s website is online (I swear that’s old news…) and the show hits the airwaves in October.
• And if ever there was a depressing page put up on goo, it’s got to be this Mokke character design page. Man, they suck. I’m sad.
• moetron never fails to come through. pKjd’s got a listing of all the shows hitting the airwaves this fall. The tally is at 34. Use it wisely.

Figures

• So, you think you can handle the heat, huh? How about when these shit ugly Bleach and Precure action figures come your way? PRICES IRRELEVANT!
• Hmm, I need a little… bovine in my figure collection. You guys know what I mean. I mean that TSUKASA BULLET’s second figure, Holstein Hanako, needs to be on your shelf, making you think dirty thoughts about the holiest animal in India. But maybe you’re still thinking… How Now Brown Cow? Well, HobbyStock has the exclusive on how, exactly, now. Both will be out in November for 5,250 yen each.
• Well… that got me all hot. (Ewww.) I guess I will cool down with a glass of milk and some Tales of Phantasia trading figures (Apparently, a re-release?) from Kotobukiya. They’re out… November for 6,300 yen.
• Lastly, from Kaze no Stigma, Atelier Sai has some… some chick. I’m not looking it up, not for this middling figure. She looks ok, though. She’s out in October for 6,300 yen.

That’s right kiddies. It’s from for a full three minute and forty-three second trailer of the upcoming Appleseed sequel, Appleseed Saga: Ex Machina. Yes, once again, ikimashou is willing to venture onto the toes of the stuffy Japanese suit wearing types to “copyright” infringe on publicly available videos. NOTHING IS OUT OF HAND HERE, CERTAINLY NOT. As it is, the film is set to hit Japanese theaters on October 20th.
