Well, well, well. Fans of fully animated eroge bits will be pleased. For, on this day, the opening for Ashita no Kimi to Au Tameni ~Till I Reach Your Tomorrow~ has been put online with mirrors at A BILLION different sites. The opening does have a bit of nudity in it. I only bold that so people know. I’d go with this mirror right here if you don’t know what you’re looking for. The game hits stores on November 30th. And since it’s a Purple Software game, it should be pretty good.

Now, I don’t know how many of you dear readers are avid Japanese RPG fans, but I am assuming that at least a few of you have heard of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. It’s really one of those amazing bits of story-telling that I love to come across. But enough about me, let’s talk about you, Persona 3 anime. Soejima Shigenori, the game’s character designer is staying on to create the anime characters, but I am a bit worried that Matsumoto Jun is helming the show as his first time directing anything more than episode spots. Still, there are some good names on board from shows like Darker than BLACK, Le Chevalier, and Ouran. Music from the guy who did Read or Die’s music.

Still, here’s hoping it doesn’t turn out like the Disgaea anime. The site, whenever it comes online will be over this way. The show is due out in January.

Yes, it’s that time of year again. That glorious day when we all set off fireworks in hopes that one of them will spook the codgers in Parliament bad enough to give them all heart attacks, or at the very least a vomit-chain-reaction sort of thing, and so the Catholics will stop being mistreated. • THIS JUST IN! GONZO and Nitro are making a new original show called BLASSREITER -genetic-, and the character designs will be by the guy who did Demonbane. Lots of big names involved anyway. It promises to be a badass bit of anime. More updates as the come in.
• Takahashi “I’m-Incapable-Of-Ending-A-Story” Rumiko’s boxing manga One-Pound Gospel is being turned into a live-action drama. Hurray! Unlike the story itself, it won’t take the drama 20 years to come to an end. Nice work, Rumiko.
• Cobra, a classic manga thingy, is getting an anime. Why? WHO KNOWS! The Japanese do what they want.
• Biohazard is getting a two-chapter manga, most likely to promote the upcoming 3DCG anime. The art looks a bit slap-dash.
• Here are some girls in bikinis for no reason.
• Production I.G is working on a show with Masamune Shirow. It’s called RD Senno Chosashitsu. YAYYY! I don’t care. It’s out in… April of 2008.
• Mnemosyne -Mnemosyne no Imouto Tachi-, a new sci-fi things from Xebec and Genco, was announced. It’s going to be an OVA looks like, or six episodes anyway, so might as well be an OVA. Also it’ll be full 3DCG. The site looks quite intriguing.
• Zenryoku Usagi, a mascot character thing, is getting an anime series. It’ll be mixed into some other show, so no reason to get all excited.
• And lastly, kure-nai has a first look thing up at the official website. That is to say, the background is now anime art instead of light novel art. Also there’s a blog and some other things. Like a drama CD, links to the novel site, etc, etc. Very sexy stuff.

• Yatterman, some crap-o-licious old anime, is getting remade and is getting the “Golden Timeslot” in Japan. It’s like I can hear Patrick Macias get a nasty old man boner all the way over here.
• Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is getting a second season. AIN’T THAT SEXY?! I came. None of you understand the genius of that show. Fakers.

Figures

• Daiki is doing a 1/4 scale Majikina Mina. These initial proto shots look really good… and Daiki is a generally trustworthy company… I don’t know that I completely trust this initial shots though. Let’s wait an see. She might end up being worth the 23,100 yen this January.
• NEXT! From Akane Maniax, via CharaAni, comes… Samba version Akane. She looks pretty good… bodysuit is a bit odd. Anyway, she’s 1/7 scale, 230mm tall and will run you 8,190 yen this January.
• Continuing along, from Yotsunoha, is Nono-chan! She’s not really that great looking which is understandable with her coming from Toys Planning. She’s 6,500 yen, out in November, and stands 180mm tall.
• The last ones are sort of meh, so here’s the O-JI Collection. Volume 1, Volume 2, and Volume 3.
• HEY! There’s a big box of Metal Gear Solid figures. And they’re good. There’s five of them in the box, They’re like 20,000 yen or some shit.

I don’t know if you guys have ever read Footprints in the Sand, but it’s a beautiful poem about a homosexual relationship with the Christian god that ends in a thoroughly sticky facial delivered by the business end of “the LORD.” At least that’s how I remember it. H20 Footprints in the Sand is similar, but includes far less man on man action and is actually a ero novel adventure game. Like Queen’s Blade or something. Also, please play against a girl. ZEXCS is animating and Tachibana Hideki is directing. And that’s all. Please to enjoy.

Have you guys been waiting on Max Factory’s Makoto figure from Kanon? No?! Yeaaah, me either really. And that’s a lot to say coming from a blatant MaxFac whore. Still, Makoto is looking extremely nice. The paint’s good, the expression and pose are nice, and… yeah. Just generally good. I would go so far as to say great, but the supplied shots make the seams in her arms look a bit obvious. Hopefully that isn’t the case. She’s out in February and will be 1/8th scale and 175mm tall. IS SHE COSTLY?! A little. She’ll be 5,800 yen.
