It evening time, and you know what that means around here. It means it’s figure time. The Crysis demo go delayed, or I doubt I’d even be posting right now. Yeah, that’s right. • Lastly, Daiki is offering up a sword wielding 1/6 scale lady called Kenshi-san. She is looking pretty good, which I say now, but these things can change towards production. Usually companies like MaxFac and ALTER are fine, but I worry about some of these other places, especially resin dealers. Nice boobs though. She’ll be out in January for 7,850 yen.

• An anime based on the Hooray For Fish picture books is in the works. It’ll be called Suisui! Fizi! and it is set to hit the NHK on October 4th.
• Kimi ga Nozomu Eien’s upcoming OVA, Haruka Route, has gone and gotten itself dated. The OVA is due out on the 21st of December. GOOD END?
• Remember that live action Negima abomination? Well, there’s a trailer online for it. That’s right. 31 flavors of nasty faces. WOO!
• In an effort to stop a wave of axe murdering 14-year-old girls, Japan’s broadcasters preempted the broadcast of both Higurashi and School Days episodes. So, to explain, some loopy 14-year-old twat axe murdered her rapist father after she couldn’t take the abuse anymore. Therefore, figuring that the episodes of anime might upset people (at 2 and 3 in the morning) they pulled them. Now, beside the fact that anything you watch at 2am, you watch on purpose, is there some writ that says that no one can ever be upset by anything? Moreover, had EVERYONE in Japan recently had an axe murder in the family? If not, why would they be upset about animated violence? I really don’t understand this sensitivity bullshit. Especially when it cuts into people’s entertainment for no valid reason.
• Tower of Druaga’s game and anime sites have been put online. Inventive URLs. Good work, GONZO.
• And if you’re like me and can’t get enough of 3D CG anime, then you will want to check out the website for Hoshi no Umi no Amuri ~ Amuri in Star Ocean. It’s a fully CG sci-fi/action flick OVA thing. You can catch some footage on the site. The first DVD hits on November 13th, the second on February 22nd, and the third on June 27.

Well, I think Tablier Marketing is one of those companies you don’t hear from too often in the figure market. But I have to say, for a company whose main gig isn’t figures, Tablier has made a decent effort with their two newest offerings. First up is Nayuki from Kanon. She looks pretty good, and they opted to give her supporting beams rather than trying to make her free stand. It’s a choice you see avoided a lot these days, but it usually really helps figures stay upright. She’s out in November for 7,800 yen and is 230mm tall.Next up is Kasugawa Sasara and she is looking pretty sexy, I’d say. Lovely panchira. Really, I think she speaks for herself in the pictures. The outfit is a good color and compliments her skin tone and eyes very nicely. She hits 245mm tall and will be out in December for 7,800 yen. Boy howdy!

So, have any of you guys ever played the Super Blackjack Rio games? The slots and suchlike? Yes, no? Well, it’s chock full of sexy ladies, and Orchid Seed knows this full well. That’s why they’ve made the Rio Calender2007 figure. The spelling error is their own, but the figure shows Rio on her way to a blissful state of undress that will make your live a little better. The hair seam is a damn shame, but it’s not too huge and her vibrant eyes certainly make it hard to focus on the hair issue. Her eyes among other things, that is. Well, there’s another trailer online. This one doesn’t even really try to amount to anything. Yes, Tsubasa Tokyo Revelation’s new trailer comes in at a depressingly flaccid 15 seconds. You barely start to connect with the man-on-man sex innuendo before it’s over. Much the way you would expect from a careless love such as CLAMP. Anyway, the first OVA comes out as part of the manga volume 21 on November 16th.

While my brain tells me there was a trailer before this one, that trailer is stupid and doesn’t have any friends. This new KITE Liberation trailer is balls to the wall, tall-thingy-jumping goodness, all wrapped in… something. Something creamy. I don’t want to say action packed thrill ride, but certainly it was a motion filled excitment transportation. I give it three out of seventeen stars, and you can too. The pope called for an international day of mourning today as news came out that there wasn’t going to be a HoiHoi-san anime. As it goes, one of the hard working ubermensch over at Moon Phase misread something, or something, and it turns out that Dengeki Black Maoh’s announcement was for the new manga… which makes no sense, as we all fucking know that already from the announcements in Maoh and all over the intertrons. But on the other hand, if enough people get all buzzy about it, it could still happen. NEVER GIVE UP! Although, if they had an OVA back in 2004 and it’s still not a full TV show… hmm. Maybe Legacy will give it a stat bump BE SAD, PEOPLE!

It’s a good thing I was lazy last week. Otherwise the anime news for today would have been lamely small. Heavenly Sword was about like everyone says. Extremely well done and beautiful (My god, Kai. I LOVE YOU KAI! YOU CRAZY LITTLE SEXPOT!). It’s too short, like that also say. And no one has mentioned that Kai and Nariko are obviously fucking. I mean some real muff-motorboat action all over the place. I’ve got Team Fortress 2 waiting for me at home, so I will mention how that one is a bit later. TGS starts Wednesday. And Crysis on the 25th! YES! Good stuff all around. On with the rollup!

• Shakugan no Shana’s second season website has been put online. AND NOT A MOMENT TO SOON! Now you can pass the time until the show starts (October 4th) by reading the site over and over again.
• Not that any of my post pubescent readers will care, but the Maple Story website has also been put online. But for you cute little scamps, the show starts on October 7th, and you can just cutey wootie hoojuboo!!! Sorry, that’s how you’re supposed to talk to those sorts of people.
• A new .hack//G.U. OVA is in the works. It’s set to be three episodes and 85 minutes long. I’m not sure if that’s total or per disc. The undying series will see the first disc of this OVA released on January 25th. It’ll be out on both Blu-ray and DVD. There will be a PV for it at TGS this week.
• Trailer: There’s a nico^2 video up for the upcoming anime for Saishuu Shiken Kujira. The anime is based on an eroge. A good one. So be sure to check out the promo.
• And speaking of eroero, Boku no Pico shota has been re-edited to not offending the delicate constitutions of chicks who like dudes fucking, but don’t want to see the fucking parts. It’s called pico ~ Boku no Chiisana Natsu Monogatari. That is to say, my little summer story. Galge has a trailer for it. Galge has some nudie boobies on some pages, so be wary.
• Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Kurenai no Tsuki, a period reverse harem game (I think…) has had an anime special confirmed. It’s out this December.
• The October Comic Blade Avarus has confirmed a Monochrome Factor anime is in the works. No info on a date or cast or anything.

I had some links that I was going to use to whine about the state of free expression in Japan, but I just don’t have the gusto to do it at the moment. Please imagine me droning on about how the world is going to shit because upset people are forcing easy-going types to come down to their level of bother as opposed to them being forced to be more understanding, or at least less meddlesome.

The very first volume of the new Dengeki Maoh Black, which hits next week, came along with some good news. Inside the new quarterly Maoh spinoff game the delicious news that Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san is getting turned into an anime. Dengeki’s official site has a few screen shots up (looks like from a DVD one-shot or something) as well. No word on a potential release date.

Secondly, from a book I tend to avoid like the plague, Comic Ran Twins has announced that the gag manga Sengoku Gakudou Nikki: Sensei no Chonmage is getting an animated series… sort of. The show will appear as interludes during Fight Tension School starting on October 6th.

Also, sorry for not figure news last night. I was busy playing Heavenly Sword. It’s so sexy. Oh man.
