Let me just say, I had originally typed “hot anal” into the subject line, but I figured it might get me delisted or something, so I decided to pull it. IT’S CENSORSHIP! Anyway, remember the super hot eroge Megachu!? Well, I do. It’s full of super hot ladies and… you know… boning. Well, Max Factory has stepped up to the plate and will be offering a very sexy, cast-off enabled Fauna from Megami-sama Chuuihou. Boy howdy, she looks nice. Really, though, she might be TOO happy for me to enjoy her topless. Haha. Is that possible? Anyway, hit the jump. It’s worth it. I’ll toss up the original CG as well. She’s out in November for 7,200 yen. Kind of painful for a 1/8 scale…

I really want her, but I probably won’t even have a budget by November. Noticed some seams on her elbows. How on earth did they get her to stand like that for these pictures? It defies physics.

That pose they have her in means she’ll likely be kissing your shelf withing 6 months or so. Alter and Max Factory put out some good PVC, but they still lean pretty much whenever they want. Both my Saber nad Ignis figures are leaning somethin’ fierce. :’(

Holy Mother of my wallet, 7.2k, like mega-nnnggghh.
But still, a must buy. Crap.
And yeah that will be so kissing the horizontal plane in 2 months. I hate leaning, but luckily enough I have only one leaning lady and that would be backwards bec’ of not-so-good display base.
Why do they have to torment us with half-assed display bases like this. I don’t mind if it looks something different than the usual plastic round table but hey they should get craftier with it. If not anything else but better support for the connecting points and legs.
I have few that are fastened with a screw from leg to base. That should keep them from leaning. Time will tell.

I dunno if this applies to Fauna, but I hear they use ABS for legs for extra strength. Perhaps that could be enough to keep her up.

I always get really annoyed at the bases. I mean, they are either just lame or, worse, they show you one thing and end up sending another as was the case with my Kokonoe Rin figure. But HOLD YOUR TONGUE MAN! There is some damn good PVC coming up today… might change your November purchase plans.

Some figures do use ABS to help out with that, and ABS is a harder plastic, but it will still bend over time, especially given a constant strain like that. The only thing you can really do is take the dive and hope she doesn’t bend. I have some that SHOULD be bending, but aren’t, and some that shouldn’t that are, and some that do as I would figure they ought to. It can be a gamble, but still. Bending is always fixable! SO WOO!
