Well, that’s what he says, though I don’t see that much contrast between latter volume 1 material to later volumes I have skimmed through. He hugs her, big deal, the skies will fall and Devil will come claim our souls for this blasphemy. Or that’s just what they (SS) would like to think.

I’m trying to work out if you are being sarcastic about Tokyopops release of Kino (due to the chapter reordering, perhaps) or not ^^; I thought the release was pretty good, and Tokyopops release of The Twelve Kingdoms is frankly magnificent, but unfortunately not all of Tokyopops novel releases are treated equally (by which I am largely referring to the sorry state of affairs that was the Crest of the Stars release).

I wanted to share my thoughts on the subject, but I’m a bit distracted by tj’s last comment on top. Joking or not, it’s completely unnecessary and I’m sure I’m not the only one bothered by it. Guess someone’s just bitter over the controversy going on in their own home country. Sad.

I totally understand that. Honestly, I WAS looking forward to their light novels and KashiMashi. But I have no confidence in a company that is willing to sell fans down the river to appease the blowhards.

Still, TOKYOPOP’s Kino no Tabi is WONDERFULLY done, and that’s good enough for me. Ah, what a depressing state of affairs.
