Wow. I’d never imagined the angels from Neon Genesis looking quite like this. Part of the Continuation Angel (or apostle if you want to be a purist) XX figure series, Shamshel is looking quite nothing like her former, whip toting self. She cleans up nicely. I’m just saying. She is wearing about as little as possible, and that’s ok. The sculpt is good, so I vote that it’s a-ok, even if it’s Eva. This one might garner a look from even those who aren’t so into the whole Anno thing. In fact, strict NGE adherents might not fancy this figure since it’s not canonical. But they are assholes. Shamshel hits in August for 2,940 yen and hits 140mm tall. Shame about that.

Damn straight. They give a sexy girl some tentacles, call it Eva, and watch the more rabid fanboys squee. I will not give in, no matter how pleasing it is to the eyes.
BUT IT HAS BOOBIES AND COOL HAIR! And she’s probably a handful in the sack. THESE ARE IMPORTANT PLOT POINTS!
Well, I’m not a rabid Eva fan, and I think that is an AWESOME ‘humanoid’ adaptation of the EVA Shamshel. The hair is beyond awesome even IMHO.
