Official Title of Evangelion Movie Announced

Well, let’s see if I can squeeze a whole post out of this single bit of anime news for the day (there are figures, though. Don’t you worry.) The official site for all things Evangelion has announced that the title, so exciting, for the new Evangelion movie will be Evangelion Shin Gekijouban: Jyo. Which will translate to the oh-so-exciting “Evangelion New Motion Picture: Prologue.” Wonderful. The flash on the front page, and Famitsu, give a closer look at the new logos for NERV and Seele. Poor Eva, look what they’re doing to you. Wasn’t The End and constant rereleases enough to satisfy Gainax’s money lust? Of course not…
I can only hope that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann doesn’t disappoint.

i whole- heartedly believe its going to be something worth watching, they should just animate the manga now, and throw some new characters in there and awesome FLCL-type angels/ action and i will have a big ol smile on my face. awesome
