old anime news and some other shit.

Finishing up the surprisingly good Happinet blitzkrieg come a pair of Soukou no Strain figures. First up is Sara Werec. It’s another solid sculpt but I don’t have a lot to say about it, really. I mean, it was clearly sculpted to compliment the Lottie figure that was announced alongside it, but I still feel it doesn’t do as nice a job as the other. Still, give her a look; you may feel differently than I do. She will run 5,229 yen this August and stands 190mm tall.

Second, as I already mentioned, is Lottie Gelh. She has a lot more going on with a slightly more interesting pose and expression. Her hair also gives a more air to the figure. Though, let me say right now, while the clothes on both look nice and detailed, the line through the hair on both is a disappointment and certainly needs to be worked on for future product. Lottie will be out in August for 5,544 yen.

Four shots of each girl after the jump. A must look for Soukou fans.

Damn, both are nice looking though those “seams” in their hair is certainly disappointing as per all of the figs that have this nasty little thing that sometimes doesn’t even show up in the production shots when deciding, only when you open the package when it arrives. That little “setback” always saddens me. Either one isn’t “must” get for me but a tempting one… dammit.

Fuu, the Lottie one is pretty tempting indeed. : O Too bad I think Sara looks really weird in that figure.

I like Sara but the Lottie fig looks better. Will wait until Moeyo reviews it before I buy.

No Tsukino for you D-bo?

It is sad about the hair lines. It is minor though, I guess. MINORSSS!

And Tess, where did you get money for figures? HUH?!
