I could swear I’ve seen this figure off and on for a million years, but hey, it’s not been that long. MaxFactory’s Shiranui Mai is finally up for preorder at most spots. And boy howdy is she making good use of that MaxFac quality. The pose and facial expression really let you connect with the playful nature of this figure. Well, unless you get hung up on the extremely womanly features throughout the middle of the body. It’s really a gorgeous sculpt and the only issue I take is that the hair tie is just the slightest bit distracting. Otherwise, wonderful. She’s 1/6 scale and stands 300mm tall. Since I know you are all SNK fans (or are after seeing this) I will expect some good reviews from around the webbarnets. I’m looking at you, super rats. She’ll hit you for 7,800 yen this August.

You’ve really been posting up a storm today. Thanks to that my friend is going nuts. He thought he was going to be able to take a break from figure collecting. Between this, Koto’s Persona 3, and quite possibly that Orchid Seed Chichinoe one…No dice. I’m just waiting for the figure that’s going to be the deathblow to my own wallet.
Well, I am done for the day. There was one other one, but it was ugly and I didn’t want to ruin the streak of nice looking figures. Haha. So if you haven’t died from today’s posting, you’re safe for another day! Man, my hands hurt though. Truthfully, though, this is what it used to be like back in the day. Now that I’m not busy again, I can afford not to throw everything into one post. Aww yeah.
The hell. I checked HobbySearch last night and I didn’t see Mai up, but checked after seeing this and it’s already closed acceptance. Those are some killer thighs. HLJ lottery, here I come.
I’m pretty good at staying in a niche, so this is one of those, “It’s not very effective…” moments. I’d probably end up going crazy if I knew there was another figure on the horizon (Freeing’s 1/4th Suzumiya…Not now.), so it’s for the best.
It must have been tiring to post like that every day, especially when adding in impressions. The figure flow hasn’t been all that smooth lately either. Big droughts followed by flooding.

Yeah, it was the Chocotto Sister one. It just looked sort of… boring and out of place. No big loss. I doubt too many people are buying Chocotto sister figures anyway.
The posting isn’t really tiring. I enjoy doing it. It’s just tough to balance it with work some days. Not too tough, but work can certainly be a distraction.

Meh. I’ve seen way cuter ones of her. Too bad “CvS II” is damn horrid, especially since Mai is so horrible there. If you really want to see Mai’s true colors, play “1998″ or better yet, “Real Bout II”.
