And Glory be to Max Factory for this beautiful PVC deliciousness that they have bestowed upon us. Awwww yeah. Ok, well, enough of my drooling over the single best figure manufacturer on the planet. First up, and continuing in their Shining Tears bathing suit line, is the lovely Ryuna. Surely some of you are having images of gunXsword’s Fasalina. I know I did. She’s pretty plain in the scheme of things, and is probably the least interesting of the lot. And her boobs are a little bit awkwardly shaped. Still, it’s not one of those figures I would expect to be on the high list for greatness. She will run you 4,800 yen, stands 245mm and is 1/7 scale. Worth picking up if you like the character or are collecting the set.
Secondly, and the one I am preordering as soon as it shows up on HLJ, is this AMAZING WONDERFUL, DYNAMIC Himawari figure. I love Himawari so much, I can’t begin to explain it. No one else in America seemed to dig it. Fansubbers certainly didn’t give it the love it deserved. Himawari is holding tomatoes or something and the post is just awesome and amazing. I am getting it. You can’t talk me out of it. She’s 1/8 scale, 200mm tall, and will run you 4,800 yen.
A good number of pictures after the jump. HIMAWARIIIIIII!!!!! YAY! No one better disagree with me! I am all knowing!

the Himawari figure will go over 100x better than the anime with fans, namely because you don’t have to listen to the voice actors.. that and tomatoes is totally nin nin
See, that’s the thing. I loved the voices the best in that show
THEY WERE SO UNIQUE AND AWESOME, DE ARINSU~!!
NOT IMPRESSED.
“Surely some of you are having images of gunXsword’s Fasalina”
I did as I saw a thumbnail, I would have prefered Fasalina !
I’d like a nice large Fasalina figure. It’s high time Max made one to go with my Carmen and Wendy.
And Han, you know you love Himawari. LOVE!
I like the face on Ryuna. I’ve passed on the other ST figures, so I’ll probably not get her either — though to me she’s the best looking figure from that set.
those aren’t tomatoes, it’s persimmons
SO THEY ARE! Thanks for pointing that out. :D
