How many of you out there know who Yug is? If you don’t then go grab the ROBOT books to get a quick look at some of his good works and to acquiant yourself with some other awesome artists. Ignoring that, Yamato has announced a pair of YUG figures that I will talk about now. First up is Kuma-san. A cute little loli holding a large stuffed bear. Precious… is the word I would use if I wasn’t so sexually attracted to the little… bear… in this PVC. Ahem. The bear. Anyway, the girl in this figure is sporting some cut off pajama sort of thing and the bear has a classless bowtie that makes him the butt of jokes around his friends. Not sure of the scale, but for the price and from the dusty look in those eye stickers, I would hope at least 1/8th.
Moving along! I find this to be the more interesting and endearing of the two. It’s Crayon! I would almost buy Crayon for the post alone… and the fact that I love YUG. One of the first things that I notice about this one is that it’s colored brightly which sort of deviates from the less saturated style he tends to use. It is nice to see that his characters don’t need to attach themselves (as strongly) to a certain color pallete like some artists (kokekoke comes to mind). Truely these are figures that any YUG fan must pick up. PICK THEM UP! They’ll each run you 3,990 yen this April.
Two pictures of each after the jump… and for fun I am going to toss in shots of the new Bust Emperor: Ridiculously Sized Tits Edition and Alter’s resale of Fate-tan and her big sword.

My God, just hope it’s not the pedobear she is hugging.
