Hey guys! The new feature is finally ready. And it’s time for the big reveal! It’s a completely custom coded release tracking calendar! It took me most of this week with tweaks and stuff, and entering data will probably take me another good while. Here’s a quick rundown of new stuff.
You can click through to any month, obviously. You can add alerts, but only if you’re signed up. But that’s ok because signup literally takes about two seconds. Also, when you sign up for an account, you sign up for a blog account so you can just use it to save your information and be logged in for comments. This also makes it so that your comments are automatically marked as non-spam. Furthermore, you can limit the views on the calendar by the genre of the post. Just go have a look at it, and tell me what you think.
Oh, and as a favor, could you guys please let people know about the calendar. You can link directly to it if you want. And just so you know, I will never share your private info with anyone.
Oh and if you have any questions, corrections, additions, or suggestions, please comment or contact me via the contact link above.
Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot. All times are listed in their local release. So DVD, Anime, and OVA releases are in JST. Well, unless otherwise mentioned. They will all send at their proper times even though the server is in a PST area.
ohhh~ spiffy! looks pretty neat and promising ^_^;; i’ll try to let people know about it =D
hm~ although the links aren’t particularly working here. good luck with it!
So this was your secret plan? Hehe looks good.
mth:
Thanks for the compliment. If I might ask, how aren’t the links working? Just let me know when you can so I can test it out myself and get it fixed up.
Han:
Thanks. Keeping it updated hopefully won’t be too painful. MY SECRET PLAN WAS PERFECT! Except that I ended up showing a few people to get some testing done. BUT THEY ARE NOBODIES! SO THEY KEPT IT SECRET! BWAHAHAH!
What the fuck is this shit?
IT’S SO BRILLIANT MY BALLS ARE LAUGHING! Good work! And now if you allow RSS on it…
Now this is fantastic, never even _dreamed_ about something like this being the BIG SECRET. This will come handy indeed.
That looks time consuming.
Nice feature!
It works on IE 6 and FireFox 2, but doesn’t work on FireFox 1.5 (which also means it doesn’t work on Flock 0.7). The information window comes up as an error. Whether you want to bother or not…just letting you know.
Needs more ero releases!
But it looks awesome — most organized blog feature I’ve ever seen :D
rats:
Damn! I tried to test it in everything across a bunch of browsers, but I didn’t get a chnace to test 1.5. I’ll look into getting that fixed. Of course, it works in IE6,7 FF2, lolifox, and Opera 9, so I think most everyone is covered there.
THERE! Now they’re fixed. The problem was that I was trying to prevent certain access rights and the older browsers do not send referrals properly through async calls. But I took care of it.
pKjd:
Ero releases?! Hmmmm… Maybe I should. Though, I think adding events like Comiket (I am so adding Futaket too) will help cover that. BWAHAHAHA! Porn.
I was going to scream GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY but this is actually useful. Also, for the ero stuff do a separated application in order to not get this one crammed and give it a clever name, like notikiKOYOMI. OH WAI-
This is _actually_ cool. Who knew? It’s all AJAX-y and shit too. Very nice.
It works with Apple’s Safari too, just in case you were wondering.
Thanks. I was hoping it would work in Safari, but I don’t have a Mac around here anyway. DAMN EXPENSIVE STUFF! Everybody loves AJAX, RIGHT?!?!
And Anon, the ability to stay the jeers of a /b/tard is a thing I have always aspired to. Yessir. I might do the ero stuff at OCnE. Of course, I would need to make Six do all the work.
