Wow. You know what? When I think about how many Initial D anime there have been over the years, I think “Why can’t we have some more car based shows with the same sort of ass ugly character designs and old cars?” I tend to answer myself with “Because they would have ass ugly character designs and old cars.” Lucky for all you car anime fans, someone out there doesn’t listen to me, and so they’re going to be making a Wangan Midnight anime that is due out in 2007. If you don’t know, Wangan is more of an Expressway racing show. It’s still crap. CRAP! The thumbnail proves it.
Well I’m a fan of Initial D so this is interesting news to me as I do play Wangan Midnight quite alot. Though it makes me wonder how long will they make it go for as like Initial D, the manga is still going.
I know, it’s crazy! I wouldn’t dislike Wangan so much if it weren’t for the character designs. I mean, I like cars. I honestly do. But DAMN! Wow. Ass ugly. >.>
Wow hahah! I have like 3-4 “racing cards” from the Wangan Midnight Tune game itself. I’ll be looking foward to this. DEVIL Z for the win!
i for one am a fan of both but you have to admit the initial d game is really shitty and it gets old really fast. i mean you can only beat the legend of the streets or bunta so many times. and plus the first episode of wangan was much better than the initial d first episode i think.
Haha, I just can’t stand the characters. Still, racing anime can be fun. I just can’t watch it for the same reason I couldn’t finish Tenshi na Konamaiki. TOO UGLY!! :’(
Actually the anime art is way better then the manga cuz the manga was made in 93 and the anime started june 8th of this year so it would make sense that the manga would have horrid art. but the anime has nice art i think. i mean not amazing art but good enough i think.
