Ah, this ended up being later than I wanted because I was trying to shoehorn the piece of crap Magic Key II mod chip into my new PStwo. You know, the slim ones. It worked about as well as getting herpes from a virgin… if that’s a valid analogy. Oh well. I am going to order up a Slim Kit Pro and hopefully that one will work less like shit and more like “at all.” Anyway, I am tired and I have to go to bed right after this, so here goes.

Anime/Manga/Games

• Details came out last week regarding the Castlevania movie. Looks like Paul W.S. Anderson will be directing. Say what you will about him, I fucking loved Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil was good. Event Horizon sort of fell apart, but was wonderfully atmospheric aside from that. Whatever. The film has a $50 million budget, and Rogue Pictures is doing it up.
• I don’t remember if I linked this before, but the DiGi Charat: Winter Garden site is online. Again, it’s airing on December 22nd and 23rd.
• Trailer: There’s a trailer online for the upcoming anime Les Miserables: Shoujo Cossette. You can either go to their ugly flash site and click the seventh link on the top, or you can cheat and go here. The show starts on January 7th.
• Trailer: There’s another one online for Seirei no Moribito. Looks nicely animated, but a bit slow. Here’s the YouTube and here’s a zip in MP4 (PSP) format and M4V (iPod) format. The series starts in April.
• Anime News Service says Death Note is licensed in the US, but doesn’t give a source or even say that he talked to anyone. That’s about par for the course.
• Ronny Yu got the go ahead from Production I.G for the Blood+ movie and, wasting no time, the cast has been announced.
• Speaking of live action, Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro’s live action movie website is online.
• Looks like TJ Han wants to fuck a rubber doll. I am with him whole heartedly. LET US FUCK DOLLS, MEN! … NSFW.
