Maybe that title is a bit of an overstatement. She’s not GIANT, not like that 1:1 Ruri we saw so many months ago, but she is large for a typical figure. And to explain why someone would release a 1/5 scale Ruri figure, we need only look at the manufacturer. Yes, it’s Musashiya. While the only picture I have on hand is pretty crappy, I would say that this figure doesn’t suffer too much for her size and manufacturing company. I mean, let’s face it, Musashiya is the place to be for big fuck off figures, but not always the best place for quality. Anyway, down to the nitty and/or gritty. Hoshino is being billed as follows: Hoshino Ruri 16 Years Old (Special 2) ‘06ver. So there you go. Now for pricing and specs, she’s due out in January for 20,790 yen and she stands a full 330mm tall. Nice.
