Oh, I’m sure this is news a lot of you have been waiting for. The 30-minute Shakugan no Shana OVA has been dated and the cover art, so much as I can tell, looks awesome. It’s looks like that one shot OVA will be released on December 8th and will be called Shakugan no Shana: Koi to Onsen no Kougai Gakushuu! which translates roughly to Love and a Study Session at the Hot Springs. The OVA will focus on Shana’s competition against Yoshida to win Yuji’s heart. The DVD will run you 5,250 yen and the first batch come with a cellphone strap character, though no picture of that is provided. Damn it all. The disc will also feature commentary by the cast and I believe some staff interviews and… yep. That’s it.
Figures after lunch! There are only a few of them though. Ah well. Maybe some other news will turn up. I haven’t dug through all the tech news.

Hmm, completely new regarding the second season, as in “to be made” or rumor, never heard anything concerning season II, but oh well, it wouldn’t be impossibility for me to miss that. For season II I’d go somewhat OMG YAY!
