Not sure when this was announced, but who cares! There are two trailers online for the upcoming Live Action adaptation of the Tezuka Osamu’s horror manga Dororo. Looks like it’s an exciting time for Tezuka Inc., what with Astro boy getting that film and this. Good things. Anyway, the two trailers for the upcoming movie are online in QuickTime format, and if you’re like me and hate QuickTime then I’ve YouTubed them after the jump The first is a 15 second trailer that some how manages to be pretty compelling. I think it might be the shortness of it. The longer, 30 second trailer gives better feel for the aesthetic of the movie and I must say that I’m pretty impressed. It looks good. That’s a new sort of feeling for me coming from a Japanese film. The movie will be out this January.
