Toys Works has announced a pair of upcoming figures from Kagihime Monogatari – Eikyuu Arisu Rondo. The figures will be of Arisugawa Arisu and Kirihara Aruto. The two lovely, usagimimied ladies come with… you know… keyblades for stripping the pages of Lewis Carroll’s lost third chronicle of Alice in Wonderland out of the other bunny girl warriors. It makes sense. Arisu will be out in August, while Aruto is slated for a September release. I can’t imagine they will be too far apart, though. Good for collectors, bad for people who hate waiting altogether. Both of the figures will cost 6,090 yen each, stand 200mm tall, and look to be well modeled, if not a bit thick in the hair department.

Nice looking figures for a reasonable price…. and I guess it’s a good thing my gf forbade me from getting figures, or else I’d be even broker than I am…
Yeah, I try to keep it to one a month, but that’s hard. Maybe you should work something out with her to get, say, two a year. Say “COME ON BABY! WE COULD WORK IT OUT!!”

I think they are just seeing a resurgence. They used to be a big hit back in the day and then those damn nekomimi came around and distracted us all from the super bunny girl WIN mode super dupers!
Really? It’s funny how memeory works. When I got into anime many, many years ago, I remember cat girls being quite prominent and never saw much in the way of bunny girls.
Guess I wasn’t looking in the right place. :)
Now we have weapon-tans and OS-tans and bunny girls and inu-girls… mobile suit girls from a few years back…
I wonder what’s next?
