Whew, man, I am so tired it isn’t even funny. I fell almost asleep three times trying to get this window open. As a result of that, I am going to do two posts now to get the new out for you guys, and then I am going to figure out how to get some good rest. Anyway, on to the news! AV Watch is reporting that all major voice work for Otogi-Junshin Akazukin is complete. You’ll need to keep in mind that in Japan they do voice work AFTER or during the main animation cycle, so that puts the show closer to done than you might think. the show itself is set to begin airing on July 1st, and it’s going to be 39 episodes long. That’s always good to know. I hate trying to guess how many episodes a show will as it goes on, like I did with Utawareromono.

Thirty Nine episodes? That only makes me want to see this anime more and more. It does mean that the show must introduce some kind of long-ongoing plot. I can’t wait for it. :)

It’s a good sign that they’re going to take their time wrapping the story up properly instead of just doing nothing for 22 episodes and then doing all the story and character work in the last 4. YAY Otogi-Junshin!
