Organic Hobby, a Japanese figure distributor, has decided that they are going to lay down some sex upon the American market, and they’re crazy enough to do it at Japanese retail prices. At least, that’s what the press release they sent out today is claiming. The company is planning to bring over that Lain figure that has been popular over here for a while, even though the series is old and the figure isn’t really that nice. They’ll be charging $60 for that. They are also bringing over a Sei figure, from Bakuretsu Tenshi. They don’t say if it’s the Alter Sei or the craptacular thing from yesterday. I am guessing the craptacular thing because they are billing it as 6 inches tall in the press release, and the Alter figure clocks in at over 8 (210mm). Plus, Organic isn’t exactly bringing the new hotness to this country figure wise. I have the Ren figure from DearS. Unimpressed.

Organic Hobby, Inc introduces its new figure for the U.S. market, the irresistible Burst Angel “Sei.”
The character’s name “Sei” is from the TV anime action series “Burst Angel” (or “Bakuretsu Tenshi” for Japan).
“Sei” is the eldest and also the leader of the group of paid mercenaries (Jo, Meg and Amy) kept on the family’s retainer. The figure is around six inches tall and comes equipped with accessories such as her long removable jacket. She is being introduced in her long purple jacket (did I already say REMOVABLE jacket), covering a very tiny white tees that reveals a lot more than expected. She is guaranteed to be your best friend.

The character’s name “Lain Iwakura” (or simply Lain) is from the TV anime series Serial Experiments.
The story is about an adolescent girl in suburbs of Japan, “Lain” and her introduction to the Wired, an international computer network. The original character design was done by the famous artist, Yoshitoshi Abe. The figure is around six inches tall and she is being introduced in her school uniform surrounded by an ultra detailed background scene.
“Lain” will be available in June with a SRP of $60.00.
