On March 23rd, at the Tokyo Internation Anime Fair, Production I.G. will be announcing a new, 24-episode TV series. The series will be directed by Furuhashi Kazuhiro and will be based on the original story by Ubukata To.

The anime will be based in 18th century France, just before the French revolution and in a time when lots of cults were on the rise. D’eon is a special agent to King Louis XIV who goes and stomps ass and is also after whoever killed his sister.
