Hey, that weekend seemed sort of long… but now that it’s over, let’s all do our best! Hahaha… whew, I crack myself up. It’s Weekend Rollup time!
Anime
- Quite a few site launches and trailers… like this one for Zegapain[ASX]
- Or this one for Utawarerumono…
- Then there was this site launch for Zero no Tsukaima.
- And since we’re doing site launches for prosessive sorts of shows, how about the new site for Janggeum no Yume.
- MTV did a spot on yaoi on their online channel thingy. Video is here and the article is here.
- I don’t know if you remember Otaku University. I had forgotten about it. But now it has an official date. September 28th – 30th… 2007. Watch out, it might sneak up on you.
- I saw this in a few places, since it caused a minor uproar in the community. The headline reads that a man got 20 years for having some loli (young anime girls) pictures. But really, he had that AND plenty of pictures of the real deal. Plus he was on parole. Misleading headline.
- I hope Iraq is ready for Captain Majed, the dubbed version of Captain Tsubasa that Japan is donating to the country for broadcast. I wonder if they are going to photoshop burkas onto all of the female infidels.
Figures
- Akibajin has a nice figure review of the strangely iridescent Shuffle! ladies. I wonder if those girls paid extra for the shiny suits. And you KNOW this review has your head swap fix.
- Lots of Akibajin this weekend. Capcom’s fighting ladies were on display in Akiba this weekend. Chun Li, Sakura, and Cammy were tarting it up and Akibajin got the goods.
- That Tokiha Mai PVC from Max Factory was on display in Akihabara. I worry about the seam on her boobs there… and the way the panties sort of get sucked into her leg at the seam. She’ll be out soon, yay!
- Those Final Fantasy trading arts figures made another appearance. In the flesh this time. Sadly, the store that had them on display either didn’t get or didn’t reveal the secret figure.
- Also on display was another in the long line of To Heart 2 figures. Yuma is due out this month, also. She’ll run you 3,990 yen.
- Capcom’s Fighting Jam ladies — from Yujin — were probably happy to be in one of Akibajin’s photo reviews… right up until the head swapping. That’s two in one weekend!
- A few figure announcements now, since I am so painfully busy these days. Haha.
- This 1/8 scale Eri-chan figure from School Rumble is due out in June and will run you 4,200 yen.
- Max Factory’s Carmen 99 figure gets dated for the end of June and costs 4,800 yen also.
- If you’re feeling freaky, here’s a Kurt Cobain figure. Due in July. Dear god…
- And the Mon-sieur Bome Collection Vol. 11 figure is out today. I’m really growing tired of these figures. They scare me.
That’s everything for the time being. Just wanted to let you all know that I added a personal blog so that I can ramble on about crap that will likely only matter to me. You can check it out if you want. I just put it up so there’s not much to it.
