Let me be honest with you guys… this isn’t really worth taking the time to post because it’s just an announcement of a release date for a show, but, for some reason, I just think the title is awesome. It’s so over done! Prefectural Earth Defense Force. Man, that’a good stuff. Like Super Dimensional Fortress Macross. I guess there’s not a rule on title length in Japan. But then I guess we have Dr. Strangelove.
Anyway! On to the news! After announcing that they’d picked up the license for PEDF at Ushicon on the 28th, ADV has made a quick turn around on setting a date for the official DVD release of the show. The not-to-be-dubbed anime will be released with a web-only status on the 18th of April. And if you forgot, web-only just means they won’t be shipping them to major retailers, although the retailers can still order them in if they want.
