Ok, now, Bakuretsu Tenshi may not have the best animation… or story… or whatever. But the simple fact of the matter is this: The girls in the show have big boobies. Where am I going with this? Well, with that in mind, Alter has carved and announced their new Sei figure. If you’re a fan of the series, this well-carved piece is something you will likely be picking up, but if not, you’re probably still going to get it, because I know how you are. Anyway, the figure is so out in May and will run you a scant 4,680 yen or so.
You just know there are full shots of this one after the jump.

BOING!
or rather.. BOING BOING!
Funny how you should bring up Bakuretsu Tenshi. A couple of friends o’ mine mentioned it just last night. I didn’t get through more than the first two or three episodes of it before passing it over for something else. But it looks like I won’t be passing on some of their figures! :)
I like that Meg figure with the big ass rifle!
There is a Jo resin kit, which would be the only other one I really want besides Sei (Meg just pisses me off, though I do like the figure a lot) but I don’t want to start resins off with one that I actually want a lot. Haha. I’d really rather see it turned into a PVC, or maybe a NEW! FRESH! PVC!
I’ve made it to 16, and I swear it was the first episode of anime I absolutely couldn’t stand watching. I fast forwarded through most of it. Even the action is somehow slow and depressing. It’s one of those shows where you prey for the light hearted episodes. Oh and they cook guy is completely pointless to the plot so far. I stopped watching it and went on to Hale nochi Guu and Chrno Crusade, which I had been meaning to finish for a long time. Superior!
That’s a shame. At first glance, Bakuretsu Tenshi looked like it’d be a great anime title— especially with that CG intro. Ya can’t win ‘em all. :-/
Yeah. I was a little disappointed because the premise wasn’t bad and the character design was good, all around, but the tepid story-line and complete lack of any humor to spice up the depressing world sort of make it hard to watch. I was a bit sad that it wasn’t better.
I like the anime! :-)
Ans I will definitly byu this Sei! Hope I can get a Jo somewhere… she is really rar!
Yeah, this Sei is nice. The coloring on the mask almost seems to draw attention away from her lovely form though. That is a pity. I think you can get a Jo resin kit pretty easily. Woo Resin kits!
Earlier SiF EX Meg and Jo figures from Yamato aren’t particularly difficult to find at the moment.
I’m really tempted to get the upcoming Meg with that M82 Barret sniper rifle! I hope they come out with a Hi figure comparative to that one.
Go for it. I am going to wait and see the Akibajin set for the Meg figure, because I want to get some closer views and some… different angles. You know? The production shots don’t let me get a proper feel for the figure. Plus, I want to make sure the face is painted well. Sela-chan made me all paranoid.
[...] Organic Hobby, a Japanese figure distributor, has decided that they are going to lay down some sex upon the American market, and they're crazy enough to do it at Japanese retail prices. At least, that's what the press release they sent out today is claiming. The company is planning to bring over that Lain figure that has been popular over here for a while, even though the series is old and the figure isn't really that nice. They'll be charging $60 for that. They are also bringing over a Sei figure, from Bakuretsu Tenshi. They don't say if it's the Alter Sei or the craptacular thing from yesterday. I am guessing the craptacular thing because they are billing it as 6 inches tall in the press release, and the Alter figure clocks in at over 8 (210mm). Plus, Organic isn't exactly bringing the new hotness to this country figure wise. I have the Ren figure from DearS. Unimpressed. [...]
