Well, it shipped out yesterday, and apparently that lovely lot over at Akibajin have already taken pictures of every single angle of Sela-chan that you could think to take pictures of. You might want to veer away from the Akibajin link there until you get off of work, if a lady in her underpants would get you in trouble.
I can’t help but notice that her pupils aren’t lines up properly… that would distract me. But then when you’re farther away you can’t really notice, so there you go. Or maybe it’s just the frontal angle. Who knows. Anyway, I’ll put up a few of Akibajin’s shots after the jump, to keep you all safe at work. More and LARGER pictures at the link above.

I noticed in one of the photos a teeny tiny bit of paint spill-over from her panties onto her skin. That’s going to be tough to fix. Colour matching the skin is going to be a real task.
That lazy eye needs some paintbrush surgery but an excellent paint application overall. The skin’s nicely shaded too.
…and you can’t fault the subject matter at all! 8^D~
Yeah no, the carving is really top quality. The body proportions are quite nice, and the overall quality is nice for a mass produced figure, but yea that eye. >.> Of course, it’s also possible that the off center eye is a per model problem.
I missed the paing near the underwear, is it on the showing side, or could it beignored if the skirt stays on? Or would you paint it anyway. haha.
But also regarding the paint, that is EXACTLY why I love that Akibajin does these photo shoots of the figures. You get to see possible mass market defects and stuff to help decide, and you get less flattering shots than the studio stills from the production company. YAY AKIBAJIN!
re: spill-over
Unfortunately the spill-over is on the front of the figure, low on the stomach. It can be seen easily if she’s displayed without the skirt. Of course, this applies only to that specific figure shown in the photo. Hopefully other figures will have none or at least have spill-overs that occur in areas that aren’t so visible during casual display.
You’re right about Akibajin. Their extensive photos does give you a good idea about the kinds of things (good and bad) you may be in for if you invest in a particular figure.
I’ve seen some people say they might pass on the figure because of the possibility they’ll get a Sela-chan with a mis-aligned pupil. Geez, how could you pass on her over something that’s so easy to fix? 0_o
