That crazy swindling manga, Kurosagi, is being made into a live action television series, according to Sankei Sports. Tomohisa Yamashita, star of Ikebukuro West Gate Park and member of the J-Pop group NewS, is set to head up the cast as series namesake character. According to one fan, Tomohisa is “super kakoii[sic] and kawaii,” which bodes well for the success of the series on the open market. The series is slated to begin airing on TBS starting the 25th of March.

Tomohisa Yamashita, commonly known among fans as ‘Yamapi’, is currently rising in popularity due to his role in the October season series ‘Nobuta. wo Produce’, or Producing Nobuta(Pig). His upbeat quirky personality won the hearts of hundreds, and arguably overshadowed the male lead. The female lead, Yoshikawa Tsurara, will be played by Horikita Maki, who was Nobuko (nicknamed Nobuta) in previously mentioned series. Many fans were unsatisfied (unless they were a dreaming yaoi fan) with the unromantic ending of ‘Nobuta.’, and hope to see a relationship between these two fulfilled in Kurosagi.
The airing date is supposed to have become April 14 at 10:00 pm on TBS.
Please note that if anyone is going to do a picture search of Yamashita Tomohisa, find an image as recent as possible. He has gained a relatively incredible amount of muscle mass in the last half year.

Hmm, I think at least two major forums have linked this post for Kurosagi info. For random posting, the series had an 18.8% rating for the first drama, but reached 25% at the second half. The rating for the next episode is the one that will show how well this series will go.
