Atelier-sai’s 1/8th scale PVC of Kaede from Shuffle! is goes on sale today. The figure is going for around 4,725 yen, so grab them while they’re hot. It’s also worth noting that Akibajin has a couple of package shots up, if you want to get a feel for the size and the… packaging.

I’m not too familiar with Shuffle!’s background. I know it was a hentai game turned into a TV series, of which I’ve seen a few episodes.
Not sure if it was from the game or the TV series, but I did see a couple of screenshots of a crazed Kaede with a butcher knife. Now THAT’S figure-worthy imagery. :-P
I haven’t seen it, but I’ve heard some good things recently, so maybe I should start checking it out. This figure is certainly pretty cute, so that speaks well of the character design at least.
Yeah, you don’t really see enough crazy faced figures. I would love to see some of the more animated expressions from these shows make it into a PVC, but then I guess the bulk of the people buying them want that whole kawaii side first. Although, that recent Arcueid figure (WOO! Shingetsutan Tsukihime!) was pretty far off from the standard, still not normal body proportions though. That’s what I’d want, would certainly of break up my figure shelf from all the hands-behind-the-back-shy-girl poses I seem to have.
