According to TV listings everywhere, Cartoon Network will be showing Spirited Away and all the rest of the Ghibli favorites starting Friday, February 3rd. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given the universal nature of the films that come out of Studio Ghibli and the fact that Turner Classic Movies, a Turner subsidy, just like Cartoon Network, had a marathon of Ghibli films just recently. Hopefully, Cartoon Network will show the English and Japanese versions just like TCM did and maybe expose people to the way it was meant to be watched.
